It's official! Hotel Reservations have been made and paid for... Disneyland Parkhopper tickets have been purchased, as well as tickets to Universal Studios and SeaWorld. Only thing left is Medieval Times Tickets (which you can't buy this far in advance yet). Then just bringing the money along for food, gas, souvenirs, parking, etc.
I'm getting all my printouts for my 'Vacation Binder'. When it gets closer I'll print out a list of the showtimes for entertainment. I know you can get a list at the park, but having it beforehand, we can plan our day the night before instead of wasting time at the park. I even have a list of the restaurants that are in the "under $15 per meal" category. I want to make this vacation money go as far as possible! : )
I've been planning this trip for so many years (since Zackery was a baby) that it's hard to believe it's only 6 months away! We're going to make a paper chain with all the classic disney movies (there are 344 TOTAL Disney movies... it would take a year to watch them all!!!) listed on the links and each day we'll take a link off and watch that movie. It will be our Disney countdown. : ) And I want to make sure the boys know all the characters! : )
I've been a few times, but not since I was 18. Blaine and the boys have never gone. There are only 3 rides Zack wont be able to go on (yup, I have a list of ride height restrictions as well!).
Hopefully all my insane planning will result in a wonderful vacation with as little stress as possible and as much fun as we can possibly have! I'm so excited to have a whole week to just play with the kids and be together as a family! And Disneyland is seriously one of my favorite places ever! I don't care how old you are, you can still feel the magic at Disneyland. : )
I'm so excited that it's official!!! All the big stuff bought and paid for and ready to go! October better come quick!!! (Well.. not TOO quick... I still have planning to do!) : )
That will be so much fun!! I LOVE Disney Land with little ones. It is the best.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to write this in my last comment...one of the cheapest places that we found to feed all of us was a surf pizza shop in California Adventures. They are HUGE pizzas and if you just drink from your water bottles, then it is super cheap for there. I am not sure what it was called, or if it is even still there (it has been two years since we were there). I think that it was only about 25-30 per pizza.
