Happy Birthday to Me... Happy Birthday to Me....

In celebration of myself (he he... it's my birthday, I get to do that) I shall post 100 facts about moi. Enjoy!!!

1. I was born on February 28, 1985
2. When I was born I was said to look like a little eskimo baby
3. I had white blonde hair when I was little
4. But it slowly changed back to brown
5. I am quite fond of my eye color which is green with some blue and a little brown in the middle
6. I find it ridiculous that in 5th grade I was the 3rd tallest person in the class...
7. ...and now I am stuck at a measly 5'2"
8. I have spent the last 11 months working my butt off (literally... ha ha) to lose 25 pounds...
9. and I'm not done yet! : )
10. I met the love of my life right before my 19th birthday
11. I took it as a huge accomplishment when I finally got him to say more to me than just, "Um. Hi.... You look nice today." He was ridiculously shy around me.
12. We have been married for almost 7 years!!!
13. My best friends are still the same ones I had in high school... yup... 8-10 years later... : )
14. I somehow lost what little 'outgoing-ness' I had as I got older
15. Scrapbooking is my all time favorite activity to do in my spare time
16. It has been since I was about 12
17. I enjoy all things crafty as well... jewelry making... home decorations making... and such and such and such.
18. Dark purple (plum as I preferred to call it) was my favorite color throughout most of my life.
19. Slowly my favorite color changed to Burgundy.
20. Now it is a rich deep red color.
21. My living room, kitchen, downstairs bathroom, and bedroom are all decorated mostly in this color of red. Something about it... I don't know... it's energizing for me I guess.
22. My first son was born in 2005.
23. He has SO much of my personality... not always a good thing. : )
24. We named him Kadan which was my favorite boy name since high school...
25. ...and gave him his Daddy's name (Blaine) for a middle name.
26. My second son was born in 2007.
27. We named him Zackery, because once we were in the hospital we couldn't come with anything else we liked. : )
28. He is SUCH a little practical joker, he definitely took after his (middle)namesake, my Grandpa. (Both have middle names of 'George').
29. My third son was born in 2010.
30. He was in SUCH a hurry to get here, as I got pregant WAY faster than we were ever expecting and he came rushing into the world at 31 1/2 weeks.
31. Luckily... he obviously had a reason to come here early because the Lord sure made sure he was safe and he had no problems.
32. When named this baby Cameron F. (Middle name for my maiden name, Foy, [Blaine's middle initial is the first letter of his mother's maiden name, too... and my dad only has a middle initial]... AND it's also for Blaine's grandfather 'Fay'.... yup...WHOLE lotta meaning in his middle initial! : )
33. If I ever get a daughter her name will be something containing "ann" "anne" or "anna"
34. Though I'm not holding my breathe that I'll get one! : )
35. Regardless.... I love LOVE having 3 sons! Boys are AWESOME!!!
36. I love love LOVE to sing and wish I would have gotten into choir sooner so I could have been in the jazz/show choir in high school for two years.
37. And I deeply regret not doing choir in college.
38. I dream about starting up a jazz group and perform live at various events and clubs. It's likely to never happen... but that doesn't stop me from imagining. : )
39. I also love love LOVE to dance
40. I will forever be bitter that I didn't get to go to a high school that had a ballroom dance team, for that is my favorite style.
41. The little bit I did in college just wasn't enough to curb my appetite for it.
42. My husband has promised that in the near future we will attend the BYU adult dance camp together. : )
43. You better believe I'll be holding him to it!
44. I was baptized into the LDS church when I was 15
45. I didn't talk to ANYONE about it while I was considering it. I wanted it to be completely my own decision.
46. I only told others once I had done my research and decided to go ahead with becoming a member.
47. To this day I still am grateful for that decision
48. My temple day was one of the 4 happiest days of my life (the others were my children's births).
49. I have learned that there is nothing you can't make it through in a marriage so long as both individuals are willing to work hard together.
50. I believe date nights are SUPER important in a marriage.
51. I also believe family 'date' nights are important
52. This is the first year I have really understood the value of Family Home Evening.
53. We've had it every week in the year 2011 and it is WONDERFUL!
54. My only significant calling in church I've had was Relief Society Teacher once a month...
55. ...and I SUCKED at it. I was HORRIBLE. I'm not kidding. It was a hard time in my life and I was incredibly unreliable. Thank heavens we moved.
56. I am about to start a new calling of Cub Scouts Leader (for the wolves, 8 yr olds)...
57. ...which I vow to make sure I am AMAZING at. I must redeem myself.
58. I hate being terrible at something.
59. I truly enjoy school.
60. I even really like... tests. Yeah. I'm a freak.
61. I had always planning on going to college for something music related.
62. I have no idea how or when that choice actually changed.
63. ...but I'm glad it did.
64. I LOVE being a preschool teacher and working with little kids!!!
65. I think 3 and 4 year olds are the BESTTTT!!!!
66. I especially love studying child development/psychology/education/behavior.
67. I think little ones are just fascinating! and SO much fun!
68. It is my lifetime goal to start a children's museum with TONS of hands on activities.
69. I WILL accomplish this goal at some point in my life.
70. Chubby baby feet and cheeks are quite possibly my favorite thing in the world
71. As hard as the baby stage can be, there is SOOOO much to love about it!!! Nothing beats snuggling with a teeny sleeping baby. : )
72. I went ziplining once and HATED it.
73. I'm a HUGE chicken.
74. I can't watch any type of scary movie.
75. Most suspenseful movies are out, too.
76. I am a total sci-fi geek which I blame first on my dad for passing along the genes and then on my husband for bringing that side out of me.
77. My favorite type of books are those that have a little fantasy, a little historical feel to it, a little bit of romance, a little bit of drama, a little bit of comedy, and excellently written characters.
78. I love ALL types of music. I can find songs I like in every genre.
79. My favorite music to listen to right now is songs from Glee, the movie Burlesque, the movie Hairspray, music by Gloriana and Little Big Town, and several amazing jazz songs that I enjoy belting out loud while doing housework or getting ready. : )
80. I love movies with a little bit of everything.
81. I also love movies with excellent complex characters.
82. I ALSO love movies that are... MUSICALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : )
83. It absolutely totally stresses me out when my house is not perfectly clean and organized.
84. My house is NEVER perfectly clean and organized.
85. I am stressed a lot. : )
86. I am obsessed with Microsoft Excel. I'm sure I have about a hundred spreadsheet pages I use on a fairly regular basis.
87. No. I'm very much not kidding.
88. I also really enjoy my label maker. : ) She is one of my best friends.
89. I have yet to come up with a name for her. Don't worry, though... I will.
90. It pisses me off when my rugs in my bathroom or kitchen are messed up.
91. Or when the towls aren't hung juuuust right on the bar.
92. My husband has learned this over the years. : )
93. I am ridiculously addicted to several of the stupid games on facebook. Good thing I get sick of them after a few weeks.... though I always seem to find another one...
94. After the cruise we went on for my 5th anniversary I have decided it is my FAVORITE type of vacation second only to the magic of Disneyland (it is VERY close second).
95. I get super car sick.
96. Especially while pregnant.
97. But strangely I do not get seasick.... hmmm.
98. I love board games and various party games.
99. I have recently become obsessed with cloth diapers. They are so cute and wonderful and I will NEVER go back to disposables!
100. Despite the struggles and chaos and stress and problems and trials and hard times and mistakes, I have to admit that my life is incredibly absolutely wonderful. : )
