Holy Snow!!!

It's insane! Last year, when we were BEGGING and PLEADING with the weather to give us enough snow to take the kids sledding, we ended up having two days with juuuuuust BARELY enough snow (we're talking about an inch) to go sledding IF we went right after it snowed, because it usually melted after a few hours of hitting the ground. It was a terrible winter. If I have to suffer through cold, you better give me some snow to play in.

THIS year.... holy moly.... We just keep getting hit! Every time it melts and I think.... "Awww, that was probably the last of it, Man! We had a good year of getting snow-play-time in!".... THEN.... give it a few days and we get dumped on again! It's awesome! Blaine, Kadan, Zackery, and half the neighborhood's little kids plus a couple parents had this big snowfight outside and built a big snowfort where the snowplow had piled up the parking lots snow. They had SOOO much fun! I totally would have loved to join in with the snow fort (that's my favorite snow activity) BUT... it was too cold for baby to be outside, so mama stayed in with him. But it was so fun just watching them out the window and seeing all the little kids just totally LOVING all the snow.

Thank you Mother Nature and Mr. Weatherman, you TOTALLY made up for last year's sucky winter! I forgive you and you are once again in my good books. : )
