School Pictures

Yes. Yes. I know I'm SO overdue for blogging. My house is staying cleaner, though, and although those topics may SEEM unrelated.... really it means that I'm finally getting better at cramming all of my life INTO my life. LOL So blogging will start back up again, just a little at a time! : )

But I had to post this, because it was too funny and me and Blaine were laughing about it all last night.

So today was Kadan's picture day at school. (Ahhh, school pictures right? a 'joyously' stressful occasion for any teen/pre-teen girl) But boys and elementary kids its just like, "eh, pictures. cool." I had to send back the little form with Kadan if we wanted to order any. We debated about it quite a bit and ended up picking this teeny mini package that just gave us some wallets for grandparents and a 3x5 for his scrapbook. We're getting family pictures soon so I didn't want an 8x10 or anything.

So on the paper I'm filling out it says you have all these options like paying an extra $5 for more wallets, paying a little extra to upgrade your 8x10 to a 11x 13.... and..... like.... (drumroll)...

Paying an extra $8 to have your child's photo's 'retouched'.

Yup. JUST in case you feel that your kindergarten isn't cute enough just the way they are.... you can pay $8 to have them airbrushed! LOL! Me and Blaine are like JEEZ! What kind of message are we sending to our children? LOL! We were laughing pretty hard joking around, "Well, honey.... you're kind of awkward looking so we paid extra to have your photos airbrushed so we could remember you as cuter than you actually are! HA HA!

And no. I did NOT pay that extra $8. I make my babies pretty dang cute just as they are. : )
